After 45 years of dedicated service to Boots and Community Pharmacy, Dave Greer will retire on 28th May. Dave has been a member of the BPA for 45 years and has served on the BPA executive for 14 years. During this time he has supported hundreds of BPA members through disciplinary and grievance procedures and provided help and advice to countless others.
In true Dave style he “doesn’t want a fuss” and his first thoughts are for others. He doesn’t wish a gift to mark his retirement from Boots but would appreciate a donation to Pancreatic Cancer UK. This cause holds a special place with Dave following the sudden death of a colleague and fellow BPA executive member a few years ago. A Just Giving page has been set up which colleagues across Boots are donating to, we would like to extend this to our BPA members should you wish to mark his fantastic contribution to the BPA over the years.
The Just Giving link is below with the ambition to serve two purposes.
- Raise some money for this fantastic cause in the name of Dave.
- Give you the opportunity to leave a comment on the just giving site as a retirement message to Dave. These messages will be captured put into a memento that Dave will be able to keep and reflect on his amazing career.

On the 28th May Dave will be presented with a certificate of the amount that has been raised in his name demonstrating our appreciation of all his hard work and dedication over the years to Boots and Community Pharmacy along with a gift made up of pictures and the comments that have been left on the page.
