Young carers
We have been contacted by Edinburgh Young Carers who are a respite charity in Edinburgh for young carers between the ages of 5 and 25. They want to raise the awareness of young carers in the community and help professionals identify the children they are working with and they recognise that young carers often visit pharmacies to collect prescriptions and talk to the pharmacy staff about the cared for individuals condition. They have developed a free training course via TEAMS which we feel would be of interest to all our members and not just those based in the Edinburgh area. This is very short notice but any member who is interested in the training and available at 6pm on the 5th of May can book via the link below.
