Director of Pharmacy Announcement
The recent announcement of the appointment of Richard Bradley to the Boots executive as Director of Pharmacy is welcomed by the BPA.
In recent discussions, we had stressed the need for Boots to have a pharmacist on the executive of the company. In our opinion this has been lacking since the return of Suzanne Hansen to Walgreens. As such the BPA is pleased with the appointment of Richard to his new position and we look forward to working with him to champion the role and contribution of our members and pharmacists as a whole to the future success of Boots.
Falsified Medicines Directive
You may be aware of the current work being undertaken on the Falsified Medicines Directive Legislation. We are currently working on the detail of this, and will keep you informed. The formal consultation is due in January, which we will highlight to you and make a submission for BPA.
